Kern County: An Air Force service member seeks pro bono assistance with a child custody case. The Airman currently has court-ordered primary custody of his child. The child's mother recently decided to seek primary custody, and the Airman seeks help to maintain the existing custody arrangement. (case #23846)
D.C.: An Army service member seeks pro bono assistance with a tax issue. The IRS garnished the soldier's taxes for this year after claiming that his new child did not exist and so he could not claim them as a dependent. He provided proof of existence of the child, but the IRS continued to garnish his taxes. He seeks assistance in the dispute against the IRS. (case #24-0006075)
Clay County: A Navy service member seeks pro bono assistance with a consumer case. The sailor recently purchased a vehicle, and thereafter, he learned that there was a previous lien on the title. The seller refused to clear the title or remedy the issue. The sailor seeks pro bono help to resolve the dispute. (case #23877)
Salt Late County: A Marine Corps service member seeks pro bono assistance with a family law case. The mother of the Marine's children has filed a custody case in the state, despite that neither party is living in the state. The Marine seeks assistance to have the case dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. (case #23878)
