Here is a list of services and descriptions our jurisprudence paralegal company, with fees based on a $125 hourly rate. Please note that while the base hourly rate is $125, some services may be offered at a flat fee for predictability, especially for routine tasks. 


All services are performed under the supervision of a licensed attorney, as paralegals we do not provide legal advice or represent clients in court.


Our mission is to provide high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective paralegal support to law firms, in-house legal departments, and solo practitioners. We handle a wide range of legal support tasks, allowing attorneys to focus on core legal strategy and client advocacy.


I. Litigation Support Services

  • Legal Research & Analysis:
  • Description: Comprehensive research of statutes, case law, regulations, legal articles, and other authoritative sources. Includes preparing research memoranda, summaries of findings, and analysis of relevant legal precedents to support litigation strategy.
  • Fee: $125/hour
  • Pleading & Motion Drafting:
  • Description: Preparation of various litigation documents, including complaints, answers, interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, motions (e.g., motion to dismiss, motion for summary judgment), and supporting affidavits/declarations.
  • Fee: $125/hour (or flat fee for routine, simple pleadings, e.g., $300 – $750 per document, depending on complexity)
  • Discovery Assistance:
  • Description: Aiding in the discovery process, including drafting discovery requests and responses, organizing and reviewing documents for production, summarizing deposition transcripts, and managing e-discovery platforms.
  • Fee: $125/hour
  • Trial Preparation Support:
  • Description: Assisting with all aspects of trial readiness, such as organizing exhibits, preparing witness binders, drafting trial notebooks, creating demonstrative aids, and managing logistical aspects for court proceedings.
  • Fee: $125/hour
  • Document Review & Organization:
  • Description: Systematizing and categorizing case documents, correspondence, and evidence. This includes creating document indexes, maintaining physical and electronic files, and ensuring easy accessibility of critical information.
  • Fee: $125/hour


II. Corporate & Business Law Services

  • Corporate Entity Formation & Maintenance:
  • Description: Preparation and filing of documents for business entity formation (e.g., Articles of Incorporation, Articles of Organization), drafting corporate bylaws or operating agreements, and assisting with annual report filings and corporate minute book maintenance.
  • Fee: $125/hour (or flat fee for basic formations, e.g., $500 – $1,500 depending on entity type and state filings)
  • Contract Drafting & Review:
  • Description: Assistance in drafting, reviewing, and organizing various business contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, vendor contracts, and employment agreements.
  • Fee: $125/hour (or flat fee for standard contract templates, e.g., $400 – $1,000 per document)
  • Due Diligence Support:
  • Description: Conducting research and compiling information for corporate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, or other business ventures to identify potential legal risks or liabilities.
  • Fee: $125/hour


III. Real Estate Law Services

  • Real Estate Transaction Support:
  • Description: Assistance with preparing closing documents, conducting title searches, reviewing surveys, and managing the overall documentation for residential and commercial real estate transactions.
  • Fee: $125/hour (or flat fee for standard residential closings, e.g., $750 – $1,500 per closing)
  • Lease Agreement Drafting & Review:
  • Description: Preparation or review of residential and commercial lease agreements.
  • Fee: $125/hour (or flat fee for standard lease agreements, e.g., $300 – $700 per document)


IV. Estate Planning & Probate Services

  • Estate Planning Document Drafting:
  • Description: Assistance in drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives according to attorney instructions and client needs.
  • Fee: $125/hour (or flat fee for simple wills/powers of attorney, e.g., $250 – $600 per document)
  • Probate Administration Support:
  • Description: Preparation of probate court filings, assisting with inventorying assets, managing creditor notifications, and other administrative tasks related to estate settlement.
  • Fee: $125/hour


V. General Paralegal Services

  • Client & Witness Communication:
  • Description: Scheduling meetings, depositions, and interviews; acting as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and other parties to gather information and provide case updates (no legal advice is given).
  • Fee: $125/hour
  • Court Filing & E-Filing:
  • Description: Preparing and submitting legal documents to various courts and administrative agencies, ensuring compliance with local rules and electronic filing requirements.
  • Fee: $125/hour (or flat fee per filing, e.g., $50 – $150 per filing, plus court fees)
  • Administrative & Clerical Support (Limited):
  • Description: While most paralegal work is substantive and billable, limited administrative tasks directly related to a specific case (e.g., extensive scheduling for a complex litigation matter, managing large volumes of specific case correspondence) may be billed. General office administration is typically not billable.
  • Fee: $125/hour (only for case-specific administrative tasks approved by the supervising attorney)


Important Notes on Billing:

  • Billing Increments: All hourly services are billed in 0.1-hour (6-minute) increments to ensure accuracy and fairness.
  • Transparency: Detailed invoices will be provided, clearly outlining the tasks performed, time spent, and corresponding fees.
  • Disbursements/Expenses: Clients will be responsible for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred, such as court filing fees, process server fees, courier services, printing costs, and third-party vendor charges. These will be itemized separately on invoices.
  • Retainers: For new or extensive projects, a retainer may be required upfront, with fees drawn down against the retainer balance.
  • Custom Quotes: For large or complex projects, custom quotes and alternative fee arrangements (e.g., project-based fees) can be discussed.
